Killing Trail by Margaret Mizushima

The human-canine units are quite fascinating and to find out more about this K-9 duo in this mystery series. 

A View to Die For by Richardson Houston

This is a mystery series that combines the life of an extraordinary man and dog. This golden retriever and man travel from Colorado to Ozark trying to clear the man’s sister’s name in a murder crime.

Open and Shut by David Rosenfelt

This series follows the story of a lawyer/detective as his dog and ever changing parade of dogs. 

Dog On It by Spencer Quinn

This New York Times Best Selling series is a must read. This book comes from the point of view of a dog who flunked out of K-9 school which he blames on some distractions by cats.

Address to Die For by Mary Feliz

This book focuses on a woman organizing her California life amid some furry companions!

Non-Fiction

Dogtripping by David Rosenfelt

This is a real life story of a person moving his family from California to Maine, but there was a challenge he faced that most others do not: 25 rescue dogs. 

A Good Man With a Dog by Kate Flora and Roger Guay

This book details the adventures of K-9 partners from searching for victims of heinous cries to tracking down wanted criminals.
